Asylum
seekers, refugees,
precarious individuals, trans people...
This year again, we organized
our GAP (Grand Annual Party), on
Friday September 30, 2022.
We have been honored to be
able to elevate some remarkable associations from within our local
network, working in
an inclusive and intersectional way for the well-being of migrants in
Marseille:
An evening dedicated to
raising funds for the
associations, and in memory of
the late
young Syrian poet
Wissam Mohamed SANKARI

With the outstanding participation
of:
Alieu, AUP (users of the PADA)

Wesam,
SINDIANE (migrants women &
LGBT+)

Yacine, SHAMS
(LGBT+ arabo-amazigh)
&
Alex Wetter (sponsorship of their association)

|
Alieu Jalloh (Sierra Leone -
Marseille)
President founder - AUP
Users of the PADA - self sustained CADA
___________________________________
Alieu
Jalloh, since his arrival in France a
few years ago, has been one of the most active members of the LGBT+
migrant
community.
He founded the AUP association
of the PADA (first institutional reception center for migrants), as
well as a
self-managed CADA (reception center for asylum seekers), where around
forty
people are accommodated ( vulnerable LGBT+, families with children,
etc.).

Rumi's Isiphephelo
This year again
(September 2022 to May 2023)
The CALEM Institute provides its training, on the basis of renowned
scientific research, in particular for progressive imam-es from
France,
Europe
and beyond:
Now in France, after having been the
founder of the first inclusive
mosque in Europe, we have two progressive and inclusive Islamic
structures (in
Paris and Marseille), members of our international
movement.
In addition, as every year, we
organize a weekend of interreligious dialogue, where we pray together
and share
meals and theological reflections, within a partner monastery, in
collaboration
with #Communion
Bethany. Come many and many! In the program:
- sharing
and conviviality
- inclusive and inclusive
workshops
- energy healing sessions
(#Reiki)
- walks and discussions in
nature
Register for our inclusive
weekend at the end of December in a partner monastery

Tribune against the
complicity, albeit temporary, of the social network TWITTER, with the so-called
Turkish "Islamists":

Following the announcement of the participation of a representative of
the LGBT+ Muslim community, doctor and imam Ludovic-Mohamed Zahed, at Brand Week
in Istanbul, we witnessed last week an outpouring of hatred and anti-LGBT+ and
queer death threats, from patriarchal, fascistic ideology’s supporters,
claiming to be Islamists.
As a result of this pressure from this minority described as
"Islamist," Brand Week organizers cancelled (and then postponed)
Zahed's talk; and the social network Twitter suspended his account
"permanently," with no compelling justification (today, the Twitter
account of L. Zahed has been put back online). Threats and hate messages,
posted on the same social network, Twitter, are still very visible to everyone’s
eyes.
We, Muslims and non-Muslims alike, citizens committed to progressive and
inclusive philosophies of life, would argue today that the cancellation of
events, or the censorship of social media accounts belonging to activists and
intellectuals fighting for human rights, is not conducive to the emergence of
truly egalitarian societies in the future.
At a time when Arab peoples are struggling for
their rights, when feminists in Iran and France are mobilizing to freely
dispose of their bodies, Twitter is clearly on the wrong side of history, and
these so-called "Islamists" boast that they are now "stronger
together", thanks to Twitter's support for their campaign of hate, death
threats and discriminatory pressure against LGBT+ and queer Muslim; a campaign
which is now unjustly, although momentarily, validated by Twitter...
